I have an active real estate license from a state other than New Hampshire. How do I get a reciprocal real estate license in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire has recipocal licensing agreements with Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, Georgia and Tennesee.
If you hold an active real estate license in good standing and issued by examination in accordance with the laws of another jurisdiction, you may apply for an original New Hampshire license.
To apply for a reciprocal license you must:
- Apply to the New Hampshire Real Estate Commission to schedule the test
- Pass the New Hampshire Law Exam administered by AMP with a score of 70 or above
- Salesperson Test Costs $115 Broker Test Costs $130
- Submit an application with a Certificate of Good Standing from the State(s) you currently hold a license(s), file an Irrevocable Consent Agreement and complete a Criminal Records Check to the New Hampshire Real Estate Commission
- Salesperson License Costs $80 Broker License Costs $100
- Criminal Records Check $25
- This is a 2 year renewable license.
- Licensees must complete 12 hours of Continuing Education every 2 years. Three hours of education must be an approved New Hampshire CORE Class.
